SYNOPSIS

We have endless possibilities for shows that will keep the audience hooked. They will want to know what next life's adventure and lessons our heroes will experience and how their lives will be intertwined.

Some of the stories may be based on true events, others completely fictional. We can use different genres (and directors) for different episodes (fantasy, Sci-fi, thriller...)

Intention:

I wanted to write a compelling and inspiring story using the knowledge I acquired during my last 10 years as a success coach and best selling author of self improvement books. I realized that we all, as humans, go through very hard life circumstances from which we can either hide or learn. Having a Master's Degree in History, I thought I'd use that knowledge in an “adventure/faith” type of film.

I wanted to create a show that inspires people to take a step back when things seem very difficult in order to learn from the situation, understanding that nothing ever lasts. The difficulty will pass as the storm. The good times will also pass therefore we need to appreciate them when they are experienced.

Logline: A woman's soul learns about some of the most beautiful human qualities by experiencing the hardships of life through different reincarnations, accompanied by her guardian angel.

Brief Synopsis:

The TV series consists of different lives in different countries and different times in history where our hero will have to go through hardships and overcome obstacles in order for her soul to get enlightened. For each experience, she will either have learned a lesson and developed a human quality or she will have failed and will have to go through the process again in a different life via other circumstances.

The intention of the series is to help people who have to cope with difficult circumstances by offering hope and understanding that all experiences in life can bring us to a higher level of self and become better humans if we chose a positive path, that we can take a step back even in the worse circumstances and look at the problem in a different perspective. The intention is to empower and motivate people by inspiring them that there is hope even when they feel they are at their worse.

In the pilot, Michael, our hero's guardian angel explains to her that each soul longs to experience more out of life and, therefore, asks for reincarnations. Angels have lived all human experiences and, after succeeding in acquiring all the human qualities have earned their wings and became angels. Their role, then, is to shine a bright light and help humans' soul searching.

Michael explains that there are only two main choice in life: acting out of love or without love and those constant choices open us up for endless possibilities in experiences.

In order to gain a quality, humans will need to experience hardships. Some qualities are tougher to achieve than others. Only via hardships, can the soul rise and feel enlightened. For example, she will ask to learn about forgiveness and will have to live through an abusive childhood.

As in the series “Quantum Leap” each episode will take place in a different location and time.

Michael explains that time and space are only human concepts and that time is not necessarily linear when experiencing life.

In each life, she will meet Peter, her soul mate: the love of her life. But, in each different life, he will be someone completely different. For example, in France, she will be working for the resistance and he will be a German soldier. In her second life, they will be lovers and plan to marry expect that she will die following a long illness.

She will also cross paths with some other family members, friends, enemies who will play different roles.

After each life, she revisits it with Michael, learning about the reason why she had to go through the hardship and understanding its value.

Michael will be there, watching over her. At times, she will be able to hear the messages he sends her. at times, he will save her life or prevent some terrible accident to occur.

Michael will also learn from her, develop more human understanding and unconditional love.

In season 2, she will understand that she can be the one creating the lesson for others by taking the role of the “bad” person. Through her, I intend the audience to develop more compassion and forgiveness.

Pilot:

Sarah (7) is growing up in London in 1820. Sent to buy some bread, she crosses the street and is hit by a horse carriage. Michael, by her side, helps her to get to heaven.

As she arrives, she transforms into a young woman's soul learning about how life works. Michael explains the reasons why she will be sent back. Still a very young soul, she needs to learn a lot before she can earn her angel wings.

She is sent back in 1890 in Kenya, living in a family of colonialists. She had asked to learn about compassion and forgiveness. Michael had warned her that forgiveness was a difficult quality to develop and that she might not be successful at first.

As a child, she will still be linked to Michael and be able to communicate to him until her 7th birthday.

Growing up in Kenya, she will experiences the physical and mental abuse of her alcoholic father. She will also become friends with a wonderful little boy named Peter. She will hide from him, the hardships of her family life. He will care for her and they will develop a deep bond.

As a young adult, she falls in love with Peter. They plan to marry. She moves out of her house to escape the abuse and his family welcomes her. Yet, she fails at being able to forgive her father and her anger and resentment literally eat her alive. She falls ill. Peter marries her and takes care of her until she perishes.

She is explained by Michael that she will have to experience more lives dealing with forgiveness until she can forgive all. She also understands how her illness helped her to develop compassion for all those who suffer and the ability to live in the moment without judgment.
